Ingredients
225g Mature Welsh Cheddar
25g Salted Butter (melted)
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Mustard
1 tbsp Plain Flour
4 tbsp Welsh Beer
Black Ground Pepper
4 Slices of Thick Cut Bread
Method
- Grate the cheese and mix into a saucepan along with the butter, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, flour and pepper
- Mix well over a gentle heat and add in the beer slowly to keep the consistency paste like, once all incorporated remove from the heat
- Toast the bread on one side and then spread the cheese mixture on the untoasted side and gently grill until the topping is cooked through and browning
- Enjoy as a snack or light meal accompanied with a Welsh Beer
